This Privacy Policy explains how MEENAKSHI BULLION ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our website, our mobile application, and our gold & silver booking service (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or placing a booking, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

MEENAKSHI BULLION is a bullion business based at Ghodo ka Chowk, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. We provide live bullion rates and allow approved customers to reserve gold and silver at the live rate for settlement at our counter.

2. Information we collect

We only collect information needed to operate the booking service and meet our legal obligations:

• Account details — username, full name, and phone number, set up by us when we create your account.
• KYC details — your PAN number and Aadhaar number, where required by law for high-value bullion transactions. Your Aadhaar number is masked (only the last 4 digits are shown) on bills and in our dashboards.
• Booking & transaction data — the products you book, quantity (grams), the rate at the time of booking, amounts, GST, booking status, dates and times.
• Technical data — basic server logs (such as connection time and approximate IP) generated automatically to keep the Service secure and working.

We do not collect payment card details through the app — payment is settled in person at our counter.

3. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and booking limit.
• To process and fulfil your gold/silver bookings and generate GST bills/receipts.
• To meet KYC, tax (GST), and other legal and regulatory requirements that apply to bullion trade in India.
• To contact you about your bookings and account.
• To maintain the security, integrity, and proper functioning of the Service.

4. KYC & legal compliance

PAN and Aadhaar information is collected and retained solely to comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations governing bullion transactions, taxation, and anti-money-laundering. We treat these identifiers as sensitive and restrict access to authorised personnel only.

5. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it only:

• With government, tax, or regulatory authorities where required by law or valid legal process.
• With service providers who host or operate our systems on our behalf, bound to keep your data confidential and secure.
• Where necessary to protect our legal rights, prevent fraud, or ensure safety.

6. Data storage & security

Your data is stored on secured servers and protected with access controls and encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing and are never stored in plain text. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data retention

We keep your account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and for the period required by tax, accounting, and KYC regulations. After that, we delete or anonymise the data unless longer retention is required by law.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and regulatory limits (for example, records we are legally required to retain). To make a request, contact us using the details below.

9. Children

The Service is intended for customers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

10. Third-party services

The app communicates only with our own backend server to display rates and process bookings. We use a private messaging channel (Telegram) internally for shop administration; customer booking details are not broadcast to any public channel.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Significant changes will be communicated through the Service.
